Since I'm all kinds of practical, I just put the finishing touches on my mess of a room. Design-wise, that is.
Practical because I'm moving in 1.5 months (Lord help us find a place to live where we won't get mugged/assaulted/lost/stolen. UPDATE: We did :) ).
So, last weekemd, I visited Nicole and we had an esspecially beautiful Saturday morning.
First up was the farmer's market, photos from which I promise to show you. We then perused three yard sales, hitting the jackpot at one in particular.
For me: 2 dresses for $5 each and five vinyl records that were between $2 and $1 each. Really? How can I ever justify buying anything new ever again?! I am currently sans record player, so I'm using them for art in the meantime.
ANYHOW. Here are the favorite things in my space.

Aww, the pointe shoe is so cute! Can you believe I saw a pair of those yesterday at the thrift store with all the normal shoes? Haha. Your room is cute!!!

we like a lot of the same things...
simon and garfunkel... succulents... the who.... books... garlands... ok maybe a lot of people like those things but whatev.
I love the records & the map on the walls. A local coffee shop right off my campus has one of their downstairs rooms covered with pages of atlases (yes i googled to make sure it didn't have a weird plural) and other cool maps. I want to do that in a room once I get my own place.
P.S. Good luck with moving!
